Recent Client Success
Among the firm’s recent accomplishments is utilizing crypto currency as collateral for a Marriott Hotel in Belize and structuring a 2,500-acre international hotel resort complex in Nicaragua for an investor group. Additionally, we helped finance a three-acre boutique over-water resort on Ambergris Caye, Belize, established the first African and Central American motorbus distribution facility for a major U.S. bus line, and established world-wide financial institutions including banks, insurance companies, hedge funds and mutual funds.
The firm has pioneered the creative licensing and regulatory compliance protocol for all types of international structures for foreign banks, mutual funds, hedge funds and insurance companies. We continue to provide a wide range of legal and financial services related to amassing and deploying capital around the world
Commitment to Community Service
Our lawyers serve on the boards of more than 15 client-companies, and are involved with strategic-planning initiatives directed toward growth and “best practices” management. With a deep commitment to community service, the firm’s lawyers have helped develop health clinics in rural Nicaragua, preserve 12,000 acres of dense tropical rainforest in Belize, and pioneered dozens of philanthropic projects across the globe.
We also have served in leadership positions in Rotary International in both the US and abroad to raise funds for charity and provide leadership for community initiatives.
Mr Nagel also served in a philanthropic capacity as Belize’s multilateral Ambassador to the United Nations in Vienna, Austria from 2015-2-17 as well as the national bilateral Ambassador to Austria, Croatia and Slovenia. He continues to advise and work closely with the Government of Belize, as well as its various agencies such as the Belize Central Bank, consulting on a variety of issues including best practices, international compliance and inbound foreign investments.
